The theme of the 2nd Annual Black Religion, Spirituality and Culture Conference is Activism and Community in Scholarship. This year's conference will explore the links between activism, community, and scholarship and how scholars and practitioners combine these three in the work that they are engaged with. It will also explore the implications for this embodied scholarship and activism within academia, religious and nonprofit organizations, communities, and society at large.
