Nicholas Boylston, College Fellow, Harvard University, will present his candidate lecture on Thursday, February 20, at 5:15 pm, in Room 117 of 60 Oxford Street. The title of his talk is "Quranic Exegesis Between Twelver Shi’ism and Sufism: Sayyid Ḥaydar Āmulī’s Tafsīr al-Muḥīṭ al-a’ẓam (Commentary of the Greatest Ocean)." Boylston will also be available for lunch with students earlier that same day, from noon to 1:30 pm, in the Common Room of the Center for the Study of World Religions. Lunch will be provided, and RSVPs are encouraged.
